Is it possible to get an image's width/height before it is actually uploaded?

Getting the image size is possible via the File API. Not all browsers support it (most notably IE), so your mileage may vary.

I ended up getting the height and width after they upload the image.
I would rather have done this before the upload but...what can you do.
