While looking at the demos for the SL gauges, they are all very plain. I ran across this thread (http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/silverlight/gauge/car-dashboard-gauges.aspx that showed great possibilities(is in SL3, do you have an update with SL4/5?). I have attached a couple of gauges and was wondering if I can do something similiar with RadGauge? This is all going on a BI dashboard, so looks do matter.

Thanks for all of the help!

Hello Hank,

As you said our gauges (since Q3 2011 and included in the DataVisualization assembly) have simple and quite flat default themes. Our idea was to introduce simple structure which can be easily customized.

Changing the main colors of a gauge can be easily done by using the exposed OuterBackground, OuterBorderBrush,OuterBorderThickness, InnerBackground and InnerBorderBrush properties. However if you need the exact look from the screenshot (especially the geometry), then it will be best to create a Custom Template.

Let me know how this works for you and whether you need further assistance.

Thanks Sia!
I will go more "plain" for the demo and will take a look around for articles on building custom templates.

Best Regards,
Hank
