Hi,

I have form fields that are set to "Visible but doesn't print" but it does not seem to have any effect on the PDF after setting the values using the library.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong.

Thanks.

Hi Justin,

As I understand you are setting "Visible but doesn't print" to some form fields of your PDF document.
Could you please elaborate more on how you are doing that? Are you, perhaps, setting this value to the Visibility property of a specific layer, in Adobe Acrobat DC? Also, how are you printing the PDF document?
I will kindly ask you to open a support ticket and attach your sample PDF document and code demonstrating your approach. This way we can get a better understanding of your scenario and what you wish to achieve, and assist you further.

Regards,

I don't get it as well, but I think the key is, you'd changed the privacy setting with another software before. I did so when creating a form from this app online-form-builder.pdffiller.com yet it was like that because it locks the data of fillable fields from printing by default - I guess for to force customers from doing so and using them online instead. What software did you use?
