I have a list of objects that the SlideView's ItemsSource is set to and then the image is bound to an image url on those objects.
When I slide between the images there is a flicker. I've also tried using the other kinds of SlideView's, but the flicker while swiping still persists. I've also tried setting the ItemRealizationMode to ViewportItem and tried mimicking the Demo project with the animals, but I'm still getting this flickering.
If need be I can upload a video of it to youtube so you can visually see what I am talking about.

Hi Robert,
Kiril Stanoev

Thank you for contacting us. It would be great if you could share a video demonstrating the issue. In addition, if you have a sample project that reproduces the problem, do attach it as well. This way we would be better able to assist you.

Kiril,
I just uploaded a video showing the flicker I'm talking about. If the video isn't up yet it will be shortly.
Thank you for the expedient reply,
Robert
EDIT: I've found that when I release my finger is when it flickers. I will upload another video depicting this behavior.

Hello Robert,
Thank you for the sample project.
I was able to reproduce the behavior that you are describing with the Windows Phone 8 version of RadSlideView. We are going to research our options and provide a fix as soon as possible. We'll keep you posted on the progress.
Thank you for understanding and please accept our apologies for the caused inconvenience.

I also have this issue in my WP8 project running on a Lumia 920. It is not so bad that I won't use the control, the control is awesome. But it would make the app look more polished without the flicker.
Love the controls, keep up the great work guys!

Hi,
We have found a simple solution to the flickering issue. You don't need any updates, just use caching of the images to improve the performance of the control by setting the CacheMode property in RadSlideView to BitmapCache.
I hope this information helps.
