I've noticed that when using firefox you recommend turning tabbed browsing off.

I'm guessing this is because when you come to hook up the connection to the browser you are using the window title?

If you were to use the command line option -new-window when creating a new instance of firefox then you could guarantee that the title showed up.

Is there someway that I can spawn a new firefox process with -new-window and then connect to that new process?
I don't want to have to turn tabbed browsing off in order that I can run WebAii on my machine.

Hello D Smith,

Unfortunately, there is not a way currently to connect to an existing browser, but we are looking to support this in a future version of the framework.

I do not have the specifics on the connection methods for Firefox, but I checked tabbed browsing in Firefox out again.

It still looks like you will get an error when launching the in a new tab instead of a window. So you would have to use a new window when testing in Firefox.
