Filter on column treated as string

Hi,
When gridview showing horizontal scrollbar filter on grid row not working. As all the column becomes treated as string. Kindly suggest on it.

 I'm not sure how the horizontal scrollbar is related to filtering and column data type. Can you explain?

I would likt to say that if I display a record which don't have horizontal scrollbar (like showing only 4 column) its work fine. All the column have same type of filtering textbox showing(e.g if column is showing int. filterting textbox also except only integer.)

Now I am trying to showing more column (say 20 columns) so a horizontal scrollbar is also display. But now the filtering is not working properly (like int column textbox excepting string value and hence throwing an exception).
