I tried to add a new css file and found out that the input field does not accept enough characters. This is the name I wanted to enter: jquery.mobile.structure-1.1.0.css (official jquery file name).

This might be the case (but I didn't check) for other file types too.

Additional information: I was able to create a file with a shorter file name and rename it in the explorer later.

So, it just the 'Add new file' dialog that didn't accept enough characters

Hi Jan-Dirk,

In AppBuilder file names cannot be longer than 64 characters including the dot (.) and the file extension. However, you are right that the Add New File dialog restricts the file name to 30 characters. I can confirm that this is a bug and I logged it in our internal issue tracking system.

I also updated your Telerik pints as a small token of gratitude for bringing the issue to our attention.
