Hello guys, have been intercepting some messages using fiddler, but can't seem to encrypt some encrypted messages. I need a little help on what is going on here. Here is the message and signature

On a certain Windows machine Fiddler is always running in background which seem to trigger problems because when ever I want to exit Fiddler (or Windows is shutting down) I am getting an Exception which blocks the Windows shutdown process:

Note that this happens on all Windows systems I have tried, when ever Fiddler is running for a long time (e.g. multiple days) it is no longer able to shut down cleanly.
As I wrote this is a problem as when this Exception occurs the Windows shutdown process is blocked and e.g. a reboot for installing Windows Updates can not continue until someone manually closes the exception dialog. But the error does not have to do anything with the shutdown process. It also occurs when you just close Fiddler after running for a long time.
Can't login with multiple accounts on different computers - keep getting "Cannot read property 'split' of undefined"
When using Google Sign in get 504 gateway timeout
Anyone else seeing this issue/have an pointers?
Thanks - Marty
Hi,
I'm capturing with a PAC file configured which chains to an upstream proxy (or goes direct for hosts on the local network). Is there a method of identifying whether a session in fiddler was proxied or sent direct?
Thanks,
Gaz.
I have 3 devices with iOS 12, iOS 13 and 14
All of them are configured the same way:
1. Certificate is downloaded from http://ipv4.fiddler:8866/
2. Certificate is installed from Settings -> Profile Downloaded -> DO_NOT_TRUST_FiddlerRoot
3. Enabled it in Settings -> General -> About -> Certificate Trust Settings
On the iOS 12 and iOS 13 devices all works - I can open my application and inspect its https trafic. But on iOS 14 device I cannot do this. If I open safari browser, and try to open https site I get a warning "This Connection is Not Private", my certificate is not trusted and I can not ignore it by pressing "visit this website".
As far as I understand, this issue is due to Apple changing some of the SSL certificate requirements in iOS 14.
Charles Proxy was fixed to use new SSL CA certificates to be compatible with iOS and macOS changes a few weeks ago. Will Fiddler be fixed too?
Hi, thanks in advance for any assistance/insight. I've am wondering if there is a potential way to go about decoding a request from a website. Fiddler will not decode the body. Inexperienced with all of this, but thought someone may be able to lend a hand. I've attached a screenshot with the header + body.
All the best.

Hi,
I've installed Fiddler v5.0.20204.45441 for .NET 4.6.1 on Windows Server 2016, however I'm unable to capture any traffic at all. LAN settings seem to be ok, Fiddler added a proxy server 127.0.0.1:8888, capturing all processes and there is no filter active.
Could the issue be related to Win 2016 server not being supported?
On my local machine (win 10) Fiddler works great. Anything else I can check?
Thanks
Somebody posted in the forum about Fiddler and Postman, and the suggestion was to disable HTTPS.
https://www.telerik.com/forums/fiddler-blocks-postman
That's not really a good idea since your authentication data will be unencrypted.
But here's how to do it:
* Enable HTTPS decrypting in Fiddler:
Tools > Options > HTTPS
Enable "Decrypt HTTPS traffic"
Accept all warnings about installing Fiddler's root certificate.
* Export Fiddler's root certificate:
Start > Run; type "certlm.msc"
Go to Certificates - Local Computer > Trusted Root Certification Authorities > Certificates
Right click "DO_NOT_TRUST_FiddlerRoot" and select "All Tasks > Export..."
Select "Base-64 encoded X.509 (.CER)"
Save the file somewhere.
* Enable certificate in Postman:
File > Settings > Certificates
CA Certificates => On
Click "Select File"
Point to your saved certificate file.
