Hi,

I am trying to use fiddler core libraries on Windows Phone 8.1

When I include them in project I receive error like 'Type universe unable to resolve 'System.Windows.Forms'

What I have figured out is we cannot use Desktop versions of dll for Windows Phone platform.

Is PCL (portable compiled libraries) for fiddler core?

Regards,
Priyank Thakkar

Unfortunately, the Windows Phone application platform runs in a restricted sandbox that would almost certainly prevent you from running a proxy. Unless you "jailbreak" a device to allow it to run a proxy (and this is unsupported and probably difficult), you won't be able to use FiddlerCore on the phone itself.

Folks who want to use Fiddler/Core with mobile devices run Fiddler/Core on a desktop and point the device's proxy settings at the desktop.
