Hi
Is there anywhere I can come with feature requests for future versions?
There are a few features is miss (or don't know about)

1)
When I need to record a step after or in between the other steps, is there a way for me to run an automated test and stop on a specific step?
Then I could start the recorder and continue recording. (Now I may have to go through several redirects before i come to the page i'd like to add a step too)

2)
Is there any way to split a test in two? If my tests grow too big, then I would like to select the last ten steps or so, and have a "Split into a new test" button

3)
Is there a way in the codebehind to "skip X amount of steps" or "goto step X" if a condition is true?

That's all for now =)
Cheers

Hi Morten Røgenes,

Yes, you have found the right place for feature requests!

Item 1 - This is a frequent feature request. We are actually planning on adding this feature in a near future version. Stay tuned to see this implemented before too long. Sorry I can't commit to a date at this time.

Item 2 - Good suggestion. I'll log this feature request.  Currently the best you could do is copy and paste the large test, so you now have two copies in your project, then trim both copies to the appropriate size. A bit of a pain, but better then recreating from scratch.

Item 3 - Good suggestion. Unfortunately at this time there is no conditional type of logic implemented in the product. The closest you can come is the full control flow you have inside of a coded step.

Hi Morten,

This is a follow-up to let you know Request 1 from your list (partial test execution till selected step and resume recording) is already officially in the product. Please take a look at the announcement here for details.

Kind regards,

Great, its already being installed.
Is there any plan of how often updates/service packs will be released?

Hello Morten,

The release schedule includes three major releases per year along with an SP or two (only if needed) in between. We may also release Betas depending on the new features of the major releases.
