Hi, I'd like to be able to filter exceptions by Release + IP (apply both filters). Currently the available filter combinations are Country + Release and Cookie ID + Installation ID + IP. So when I select the Release filter, the IP filter is disabled. Thanks! Siyka

Hi Siyka Thanks for reaching out, we are always happy to answer questions on our service. The described behavior is actually intended, though it might not be completely logical why. The primary concern here has been one of performance of our data extraction on our part, since we do not have optimized data for this combination of filters and therefor cannot offer any guarantees for delivering data. A secondary factor has been the assumption that if you are filtering on a specific IP (or a specific cookieid), you are looking for a specific user and a specific behavior and the need for assigning additional filters was less important. We'd love to know more about your specific scenario, what you are looking for and we can take that into consideration for perhaps offering this filter. One option you have for working around this is to make use of our Advanced Queries, which allow more powerful querying at the expense of a bit more setup and delay. You can find the Advanced Query by selecting the chart you are interesting in obtaining data for, finding the Advanced Query option in the menu on the right hand side which opens a dialog allowing you to combine an advanced filter from a list of criteria. When submitting an Advanced Query the data is delivered to the workbench once extracted and you can continue working and creating more queries. Note that the Advanced Query is not available on all charts. Hope this help, let me know if you have further questions EQATEC Team

Hi S?ren, Thank you for your help and sorry for the late reply. The reason I'd like to apply multiple filters is mostly to avoid the additional action of removing one filter and applying another when I need the logs related to a specific exception report. The exact scenario I use most often is the following: 1) I filter the exception reports from the last release. 2) I want to log an "urgent to fix" exception in our bug tracker and I need to attach the complete log file. 3) So I just need to filter the Log Messages by Cookie ID for example and download user's log. To do that, I have to remove the Release filter and apply the Cookie ID filter and this additional action is a bit inconvenient for me when there are many exceptions to be reviewed and logged. Please, let me know if there is an easier workflow I haven't figured out. Thank you! Siyka

Hi Siyka As far as I can tell, we unfortunately do not currently have anything that can improve this workflow. Sorry about that. But now that I have a better understanding of your need I'll be happy to add a detailed feature request to our feature database. If you have any further questions or feedback, feel free to send them my way Regards Soren EQATEC Team
