The release notes for the MVC Grid in Version 2011.3 1306 (1/6/12) indicates that an "extended editing API" has been added. I've looked through the latest help file, but I don't see details regarding what that entails. Could someone point me to the appropriate documentation?

Here is a list of improvements made to the methods of the Grid client API
- Added methods used to get the modifications made during InCell editing - insertedDataItems, updatedDataItems, deletedDataItems
- Added method used to serialize an array of objects - serializeData
- Added overloads of insertRow and updateRow methods
