It would be a place where a person sets up the chart properties as you wish and I can export a template, or even a method that provides a template to export the chart created.

Please have a look on XamlReader and XamlWriter classes. They are used to create an object from XAML code and to get the XAML code of an visual object. XamlWriter is not provided in the official release, but there are some third party projects like this one.
