Export gridview to excel with filtering and sorting to be made available in Excel

Hi,
      I have a requirement like, I am having a radgridview with data. I have the option of filtering and sorting the data in the radgridview.
Also, I can export the grid to excel.Before I export the grid to excel , I make certain modification before i view the data in excel file.Now I have to make the sorting and filtering available in the excel also by default. Is this possible? Kindly help me.

Hello Keerthy,

The GridView can export only to HTML (and save the output with xls extension) and ExcelML (supported from MS Excel 2003 and above version). 

To enable filtering and sorting for  the excel file itself, you should create your own excel file to export.

Hi Didie,
              That was helpful.Do you mean to say to enable sorting and filtering I have to use Excel Interop in silverlight?Do you have sample implementing the same?
