Hello,
I have noticed in the Silverlight Grid some functionality that our client wishes to have, however we are looking to us the MVC Grid and not SilverLight. Is it possible (or has anyone done simliar) to
Basically we have a client who use Excel for their data entry and we would like to make the transition from Excel as easy as possible for them.If this functionality is not currently available would it be something that Telerik will consider for the future?

- select multiple rows in the MVC Grid and paste data from excel (and vice versa)?
- Edit multiple rows/cells at a time and then do a bulk update? (I have seen the ASP.NET Grid provide this functionality and interested to know why MVC Grid does not?)
Is there any other "Excel Like" functionality that may be possible with MVC Grid?

Straight onto your questions:
#1:
Unfortunately this functionality is not supported. Nevertheless I will forward this request to our developers for additional research and consideration of this feature.
#2:
This is not currently supported. This feature is added to out PITS items and you can vote for it here.
At a side note, MVC Grid does is written from scratch in order to cover the MVC and REST way, that is why it does not all feature, which much older grids (as RadGrid for ASP.NET AJAX) has.

#1. Copy cells from Excel and Past it to the grid ( All the columns on the grid)
#2. Copy cells from Excel and Past it to the grid ( Few column on the grid and allow user to fill the data in the rest of the columns)
Is it possible with the current version of the grid.

I need copy paste functionality from excel to Telerik MVC grid. Can we achieve it any how or do we have have plugin which can support this ?

Telerik Grid for ASP.NET MVC doesn't support copy and paste from Excel. We are not aware of any plugins which support this capability.

Check out the successor of Telerik MVC Extensions - Kendo UI for ASP.NET MVC - and deem it for new ASP.NET MVC development.
