I'm having trouble opening the example GridView project.
It's trying to convert the examples when I try to open them in VS2008 and it keeps trying to load the entire solution.
Any idea if I'm doing something wrong?
error:
Error converting project file. Modifying the XML of an imported project file is not allowed. Open that project file directly.

Hello Voss Grose,
I have tried to reproduce the problematic behavior you described, but to no avail. Everything works fine at my end. When you try to load the project it is Visual Studio’s expected behavior to load the entire solution.
What may be the source of the issue is missing Silverlight Tools and SP1 for Visual Studio 2008. Do you have them installed on your development machine?
If the problem persists, please send me some more details about your system configuration and the exact steps to reproduce the issue, so I can test it locally and provide you with further assistance.

Hi Voss and Hristo,
I am also having the same issues with example projects. I suspect it might be realted to having SL3 Beta (CTP) Toolkit installed.

This finally worked for me on a clean computer, but never has worked of 3 other dev computers.
