Is there a working example of an MVC grid with an edit button (don't care if it is a template column) that opens an editor window that has a custom user control in it for editing the entire model?

I know we can set up UI Hints and make user controls for fields, but in our case we want to open a window to edit a big record with 40 or so fields and want to split these into tabs in the pop up window and edit the layout, the default window which opens is simply way too long for the browser window.

I'm new to MVC, this is our first project but have used Telerik Asp.net ajax for years.

I'd love to see an example of this, is it possible? Would love it if it makes use of default plumbing to clicking save will rebind the underlying grid and close window, etc..
