Hello Everyone,
I'm not really positive whether this is a telerik specific problem or rather a Silverlight configuration problem. Anyways, I'm counting on your expertise in this area for some support. I have the following running on my machine:
- Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition Trial Version with Microsoft Silverlight Projects 2008 Version 9.0.30730.126
- Silverlight_3_Toolkit
- Silverlight3_Tools
- ExpressionStudio_Trial
- RiaServices
- Silverlight (Runtime Machine)
- Silverlight_sdk
- AspNetMVC2_RC2_VS2008
- RadControls_for_Silverlight_2009_3_1314_TRIAL.msi

My Problem is that everytime I want to create a new project of the type "ASP.NET Web Application Project" I keep on getting the following Error Message: Exception from hresult: 0x80030002 (STG_E_FILENOTFOUND)). When I click on O.K. I get the following message "project unavailable". Afterwards either an empty project file is created or only the Silverlight Application files are created and not the Host web application.

I would very much appreciate your help as I am not able to move forward because of this error.

thanks & cheers, Lilith

Hi Vladimir Byrne,

I believe the problem is coming from the version you are using. I have never experienced such an error, however after searching in the web for a little while I found some people with your problem and all of them said that they fixed the issue by installing another version of VS 2008 like this guy here.

I am not  really sure what is the problem with this version but I advice you to try and install this VS 2008 version : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=FBEE1648-7106-44A7-9649-6D9F6D58056E&displaylang=en
Make sure that it is SP1.

Hope this is helpful.
