Hi, It seems that the data reported to the framework is incorrect. It states "the newest installed framework on the machine". I'm 100% sure we have machines with .Net 4.5 installed but data shows only 4.0. It's kind of critical because we have encountered issues where .Net 4.5 installation was the source of problem. We also want to have an overview of when can we possibly migrate projects to the new framework. Regards, Lukasz

Hi Lukasz Thanks for reaching out. I think you have encountered an issue with our monitor that we only recently have become aware of. Basically, Microsoft has changed how they register the .net framework within the registry as of 4.5 and our current public .net monitor only picked up the 4.0 framework. Unfortunately this means that the monitor you currently have deployed with your product will not pick up the 4.5 framework and always report the 4.0 version so we have no way of adjusting the data that is already registered (and is being registered with that version of the monitor). I apologize for this issue but it is hard to create forward compatible software when the underlying platform and assumptions change. I'll be happy to send you our newest version of the monitor which should correctly picks this up from the registry. Let me know if I can assist you with this. Best regards Soren EQATEC Team

Hi Soren, Is there an updated version available as a public release? If no - when can we expect updated monitor? (so we can include it in our product). Is there a possibility to subscribe to some newsletter with information about new monitor version being released? We want to keep it up to date :) . Regards, Lukasz

We do not have a newer version of the monitor up on the web yet, but I'll be happy to send you a version directly, if you are interested. As for getting notified of updates to the monitor, you can subscribe to our release notes here: http://support.eqatec.com/entries/20320892-Monitor-Library As you can tell, we try to limit the number of releases but we do have a rollup of smaller fixes (edgecases etc) coming up within a month or so and I can send you our current version (which I do not expect to change) via email if needed. Hope this helps Regards Soren EQATEC Team
