Hi, May I check with you if it is possible to manipulate feature use if I have the following hypothetical value: Feature. One -> number of feature one being called Feature. Two -> number of feature two being called Feature.Total -> number of any feature being called (which includes feature one and feature two, and additional of feature three, four and five) So, my question would be: can I analyze in such a way that I am able to know the percentage of Feature. One against all feature call (i.e. Feature.Total)? Thank you. sincerely yours, Jonathan

Hi Jonathan If you track all the features within the same category (by naming them all 'Feature.X' where X is the different features) this is enabled automatically since we will create the Feature category for you in the Feature Use view and by selecting all the feature to be shown, the percentages shown in the pie chart for each feature will be the percentage relative to the total number. Doing this, there is no need to track Feature.Total yourself. If this is not what you had in mind, your request matches a similar item in our backlog which includes a feature where you can select to plot one specific feature against another specific feature and see them as a percentage view over time. If this is what you had in mind, I'll add your request to the existing item. As a final note, you may also be able to get the data you desire by going into the Feature Views report and design a custom view where you can pick out a specific set of features to display (even aggregating a list of features into a single item if needed). Hope I've understood your question correctly. Let me know what you think Cheers Soren EQATEC Team

Hi Soren, I think maybe I can explain it a bit clearer: What we are thinking to achieve now is, let?s consider a scenario: There are 5 possibilities of action from a user workflow, A, B, C, D, and E. We are only interested in A and B, and therefore we will track this using TrackFeature(?Feature.A?/?Feature.B?). However, we want to be able to know the percentage of A or B, as compared to the usage of the whole workflow (which involves A, B, C, D and E). As such, we will track everytime the workflow is being used using TrackFeature(?All.Feature?). So for example, the workflow usage is as follow: A, B, E, D, B, A, E, D, E, E, A, A I will expect the following number recorded in Analytics website: Feature.A = 4 Feature.B = 2 All.Feature = 12 What I want to do, is to know that feature A is 4/12 = 33.33% feature B is 2/12 = 1.667% The reason why we want to do this is because for the same workflow, there might be other value observed which has exactly the same total number of count, so, consider my example: A, B, E, D, B, A, E, D, E, E, A, A There will be another feature going in parallel in the same workflow which goes something like: X, X, Z, Y, Y, X, Z, W, Y, Z, Z, W And so, if we?re only interested in only X and Y, we can use the total count number recorded in All.Feature also. So, question is, can I do this using the Feature views or some other ways? Hope this clarifies my question. Thank you. Sincerely yours, Jonathan --------

Hi CheeKeong Thanks for the elaboration. As I understand your question there is no way of creating this particular comparison automatically in our web client. The individual numbers are exposed but there is currently no way of configuring a percentage view comparison against a named feature. So at this point, your best bet is to export the data to excel (using the menu on the righthand side) and perform the calculations manually. I'll be sure to log your request in our feature backlog. Hope this answers your question. Please keep the feedback coming. /Soren EQATEC Team
