Now that the contenteditable tag is available for iOS5 any chance of making the editor work for mobile safari?
At the moment clicking in the editor does nothing.
The same question's been asked in the RadEditor forums:

And it's been asked around here a few times as well.

Hi Neil,
Atanas Korchev
the Telerik team
Thanks for the suggestion. We will investigate how well the content editable attribute is supported and see when we can implement iOS5 support in the editor. I still cannot commit with an exact deadline though.
I have updated your Telerik points.

Alex,
It's interesting that you mention the editor is now supported in the latest Q1 release, as we just went to the trouble of implementing the Ajax.net editor in our application as the latest demos (of the mvc controls) exhibit the same behaviour as the previous releases - ie the buttons look like they click but clicking in the text area does not do anything (I just tested this again on the latest release iPad).
Is there something that we are missing with regards to the mvc controls in the demo section for iOS?
Thanks,
Neil.

Hello Neil,

I am sorry, for I have misguided you. The released editor does not currently run under iOS5. We will introduce this functionality officially in the upcoming service pack, and it will be available in the next internal build.
All the best,Alex Gyoshev
