Hi,
Is it possible to show the filter icons on the column headers only on mouse over and just on the respective column? I need the filter functionality but I have narrow columns and the icons take up all the space (most of my header text is cut off), plus makes the grid pretty ugly :).

Hi joe castle,
You might be able to achieve something similar by overriding the template of the GridViewHeader cell. For more information on how to style the header cell, please read this documentation topic. You will be interested in the Styling the Column Headers topic.
