Sorry to see you had trouble downloading the Widget. Try downloading the widget for your platform of choice from this link instead:
http://converter.telerik.com/about.aspx
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks~

If you look at the URL I linked to, you should see a section called "Anytime, Anywhere". In that section are links to download the Code Converter widgets for Yahoo! Widgets, iGoogle, and Vista SideBar. The Yahoo! and Vista gadgets can be installed on your computer (in the respective widget platforms) and provide similar functionality to the online tool.
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks~

But why can I not download http://converter.telerik.com/Default.aspx on my computer as promise at http://www.telerik.com/community/open-source-projects.aspx ??? Why do you not remove the URL from the web page, if we can not download it on our computer? Only asking... :)

Sorry for the confusion! At present, the web application that makes the converter service available online is not available for download. I will work with the web team at Telerik, though, to see if we can make the online converter code available, too.
For now, the only code available for download is the code used in the various conversion widgets. If the other code is made available, I'll be sure to post an update here.
Thanks~
