Hi,
I don't understand. Why this minifing thing isn't applied to the package I'm downloading instead ?

Hello Marc Roussel,

I'm not sure I get your idead. Can you elaborate a little bit on it? The Minifier is optional tool and is free to use it (of coarse you need to have telerik assemblies at first) and I don't think it should be used for the main downloading stream.

What I meant is that if this is used to reduse the size of telerik assemblies, why are these assemblies not redused already so we have our product as it would be minified !

Hello,

The idea is to extract only needed UI components from specific assembly if you do not need all of them.

I'm struggling to understand how to minify Telerik.Windows.Controls. The only controls I'm using from Telerik are RadGauge, RadMap, and InformationLayer. Those have certain dependencies on Telerik.Windows.Controls (like the error below).
The base class or interface 'Telerik.Windows.Controls.ItemsControl' in assembly 'Telerik.Windows.Controls, Version=2010.2.924.1040, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=' referenced by type 'Telerik.Windows.Controls.Gauges.GaugeItemsControl' could not be resolved c:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\RadControls for Silverlight Q2 2010 SP2\Binaries\Silverlight\Telerik.Windows.Controls.Gauge.dll
However, ItemsControl is not available through the minifier when I upload Telerik.Windows.Controls.dll.
How do I go about determining all these dependencies and how do I use the minifier to create a DLL with only those dependencies?

Hello Marc Roussel,
Unfortunately, we don`t support minifying the RadMap and specific RadGauges yet. Here is a PITS issue where you can vote for.
Feel free to ask if you need further info.
