We have this cgi application developped a few years ago, now we are thinking of doing automated regression test on it. I wonder does WebAii support CGI application?

Hello Jenny,
WebAii is a .Net automation library supporting RIA and AJAX applications only. You can check its home page and documentation for further info.
I guess it's really hard to find an automation tool supporting CGI but I hope this list of tools can help you.
