        - Desired Scenario -
Q1. Does Sitefinity 8 support running on Azure Websites?
I assume the Database would deploy onto Azure Database.
If No, Is it possible to deploy Sitefinity 8 directly onto Azure Websites? for dev / test?

        - Acceptable Scenario -
If Not
Q2. Is it possible to deploy Sitefinity 8 directly onto an Azure Web Role? Is this supported?

        - Workaround but with many disadvantages Scenario -
If Not
Q3. Are there any issues in running Sitefinity 8 in an Azure VM?

Q4. Can Sitefinity 8 use Azure Database or must I use a complete copy of SQL Server perhaps hosted in Azure?
Thanks

Hello David,

Information about Deploy projects to Windows Azure and supported scenario is available here.

As a deployment model, Sitefinity supports Windows Azure Cloud Services. Windows Azure Web Sites is not supported, because it does not support network communication between multiple instances, which makes Sitefinity’s cache invalidation mechanism (web service calls) irrelevant.
