Hello,

Our application has a main RibbonBar. It also has somewhere a RichTextBox with its RichTextBoxRibbonUI, which uses controls from the Telerik.Windows.Controls.RibbonBar namespace.

This prevents us from using a RibbonView instead of a RibbonBar as our main ribbon (see http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/silverlight/ribbonview/radribbonview-and-radribbonbar-not-working-together.aspx
).

Does the recent SP release change that? Or are we stuck with a RibbonBar because we are using a RichTextBoxRibbonUI in our application?

Thanks

Hi Nicolas,

We are currently working on making the RichTextBoxRibbonUi use the RadRibbonView instead if RadRibbonBar. We have scheduled this change for Q3 2011 (mid -November). Thank you for your interest and please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

The beta of q3 is out, and you can download it via your Account Panel. The RichTextBoxUI is now ussing RibbonView, and you can throw RadRibbonBar... horray!
