Does RadMediaPlayer play MP3's?

I am trying to just play a standard mp3 through RadMediaPlayer and nothing happens. Does it support playing mp3's or just video files? I notice the source property states that it is for the "Video Source." I also tried playing an mp4 video since the Silverlight site says the media element supports mp4 and no luck on that one either. I was able to play a small wmv video that I had, but I really need to play the audio files through the player. My paths are correct and the files exist as they open in the browser when I go directly to the path. I am using full http paths to the files and like I said, I got one wmv to play, so I know it's not a pathing issue. Please tell me if this can be done.

Hi Ed,

There are a couple of known issues with Silverlight MediaElement playing MP3s. I made some tests and RadMediaPlayer is working fine with some MP3's in FireFox and not in IE, other MP3's are not playing in both browsers. Can you provide me your mp3 urls, so i can test it and tell you where exactly is the problem (could be the browser, the streaming, encoding or something else)?

I believe the 11 and 44 Khz are the ones that work fine.
