The RadAutoCompleteView object does not contain an event handler for the keyboard return coming from the keyboard (i.e. base entry).

Hi Didi,

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there currently any workarounds for this?

I was told this was going to be fixed in the (mid) January 2019 release.

I just updated your library today, and I came to find that there are NO fixes for this. I then come back to this thread to see that it is still marked 'In Development'.

When can this fix be expected to be rolled out?

Hello Zach,

A fix for this issue is provided in the R1 2019 Official Release. I have tested this scenario on Android Emulator and real devices but I could not reproduce the issue. The keyboard disappears when Return/Done key is pressed. Refer to the attached video.

Could you please verify that you are using the latest version of Telerik UI for Xamarin 2019.1.116.1 and if so could you please send me a sample where the issue could be reproduced? Please note that you should open a support ticket and attach it there because in the forum only image attachments are allowed.

Looking forward to your reply.

Hi,

Sorry about that. I see the keyboard disappears, but there is still no method of handling the return key - which is what I thought was going to be changed.

This fix helps a lot for getting my app to deployment stages, but would still like to see some type of return command handling and possibly the ability to change the test of the return key. I.E. make it say "Submit" instead of "return".

Thanks!

That sounds great, thank you!

Is there some kind of list or somewhere I can subscribe to to be notified (or keep updated on) this change?
