Hi, I have a problem with the DocxFormatProvider, I want to import a Word 97-2003 document and the provider doesn't support it, throws an 'Unsupported file format' message... Could you help me? Is there any other format provider to import a word 97-2003 document?

Hello Sami,
Unfortunately RadRichTextBox does not support DOC format (Ms Office 2003 or earlier). We will consider introducing DOC format provider, but I am unable to specify any time-frame for its availability.
You can find information about all the supported file formats and the providers in this article.
As a workaround, you can use some other 3rd party tools to convert document formats, or MS tools and utilities like the following:

We are currently not working on DOC format provider. We have considered it, but for now it has a quite low priority in our backlog, so for now we cannot give you any ETA for the DOC support.

Hello,
DOC support is a feature, that we still haven't planned. The priority of the feature is still low in our backlog as the DOC format is widely replaced by the DOCX format, which is supported by the RadRichTextBox.
Please, refer to the second post in the current thread where there are suggestions of how to workaround the missing DOC support.
