Hi,

I am creating an application that has a mix of Silverlight and HTML.  I am trying to use transparent backgrounds with the docking control so that it is possible to see the HTML page through the RadDocumentPane control.

I have almost got this to work by modifying the ControlTemplate of the RadDocking control.  If I place a RadSplitContainer directly inside the RadDocking control then it works and I can see the HTML under the RadDocumentPane.  However I want to place the RadSplitContainer within the DocumentHost control and when I do that it is no longer transparent.

I guess that I need to modify the ControlTemplate of the DocumentHost control as well but can't quite figure out how to do it.

Any ideas?

Hello Davey,

I'm not sure I understand you correctly so some further clarification would help us assist you better.

If I understand you well, you want to have your Document host transparent for your Html page behind the Silverlight? And after that if you drag a RadPane in the Document host you want that Pane to be transparent, too? Or you want just when you have no panes int the Document host to see the Html behind the Silverlight plugin?

If you could please send us a project (via a formal support ticket) that demonstrates what you mean it would be great.
