Is there any way to disable or remove the bright red icon in my bottom status bar?

It's insanely distracting having a bright red square with a bright orange triangle and exclamation point in it, when using Visual Studio in a dark theme, especially given that it's only there to report  an issue.  Couldn't I just click the JustCode menu and go from there?    It's also a little off-putting in that it looks like Visual Studio has an issue, or the file currently open has an issue rather than it just being there if you just really-really-really wanted super-quick access to report an issue with JustCode, enough to have a button readily available at any and all times...

This (see image) is pretty horrible.

Green checkbox + "No errors in solution" + big red square and exclammation point + "Ready" is very confusing and annoying.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for contacting us.
This icon gives signal that an exception has happened and you can review and send it to us by double clicking over the icon.

In order to investigate your issue we would like to send us your logs from %localappdata%\JustCode\Logs.

Meanwhile, you can disable this exception reporting by joining our Customer Experience program. Thus, any generated exception will be automatically sent to us.
The sign in dialog can be found at JustCode menu > Help > Customer Experience Program.
Thanks.

So I either have to agree to automatically and invisibly participate in reporting issues and sending data back to Telerik or I have to manually report the issue in order to get rid of the icon?

I'm not sure why I can't just elect to not participate and not send an error report in - and have that be the default but still get rid of or avoid the annoying icon in the status bar.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the reply.
These two options are available so far, even though you don't have to manually send us the your exception report but can discard it.

Actually there is a third option which is to send us your logs. Thus, we could investigate and fix the exception so it no longer bothers you by showing in the status bar.
Thanks.
