Different template for insert and edit

Hello,
I read the forum this feature is not supported.
It would add to future possibilities for teplate adjustable name, something like the Html.EditorForModel(TEMPLATENAME)?

Hi Ludvík,

The functionality to specify the edit template by name is already available. This can be achieve by using Editable option TemplateName setting:

.Editable(editing => editing.Mode(GridEditMode.PopUp).TemplateName("MyTemplate"))

it is a useful feature, but without the ability to choose a different template for editing and for creating a different template, it does not solve my problem.

Is there currently no way to use Javascript to use a different template depending on which button is clicked (add and edit) ?
