Hi,

what is with different languages? We need the interface in different languages.
Some of our team members have different languages, and some of them feel a lot better when their native language is in interface.

I only test community version at moment, but i see no way to translate.

Thanks Jens

Hi jens,

Unfortunately while translation and localization are in our backlog I cannot comment at this time as to when they may be included within a release. For the time being TeamPulse is an English-only product.

All the best,

Hello Telerik team,
I like the product and I think it would be a very good answer to our need for requirement management in our company (50K employees). But as log as there's no language support für german there's no chance to use it.

If you could publish a date for language support I might have a chance to wait for the release. Otherwise we'll have to pick another 2nd best product :-(

Cheers,
Alex

Hello Alexander,

Unfortunately, we cannot commit with a date for adding the change of language in TeamPulse, as it has not been planned yet. We are still gathering feedback and researching, and the feature will most probably not be added with the next few major releases.

Best wishes,
Emilia

Hello Giovanni,

We have a progress in this area especially with the transition of the product from Silverlight to HTML5, but unfortunately we still do not provide language support in the full sense of the term.

Currently - since the last release (2012 R3) we provide the option for the server administrators to manually customize the Ideas & Feedback Portal by changing a resource file - thus changing the wording used or the entire language - you can see this blog post:
http://www.telerik.com/agile-project-management-tools/blogs/12-05-23/localization-of-the-teampulse-ideas-feedback-portal.aspx

In some of our next releases it is possible to provide localization for the Feedback Portal and all the functionality that is transferred in HTML5 but - we could not commit with a date for that yet.

All the best,
Oleg

Hello guys,

My company might also be interested in TeamPulse, but we need translation as well. Have you made any progress with internationalization ?

Hi,

with our new html interface we supply a javascript file which contains all messages and could be modified by you. Unfortunately, we don't have user interface for that and may be you should do some additional steps after upgrade but we could give you instructions and help with these tasks.

If you want to try this, you could download our latest version and edit the file teampulse.en-US.js, by default it is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\TeamPulse\wwwroot\Scripts\Cultures.

I hope this information will be helpful for you. If you have any other questions do not hesitate to contact us again.

Regards,
Diana
