Hello Bruno,
Thank you for asking this question in this forum thread. Basically, the TreeViewDragCue and the TreeViewDragVisual are the controls that display information such as the destination of a possible drop operation when you perform a drag operation (e.g. Drop inside/after/before [item header]).
Furthermore, the TreeViewDragCue is designed to work with the obsolete RadDragAndDropManager, while the TreeViewDragVisual comes with the improved drag and drop logic of the RadTreeView control. Hence, we strongly encourage our clients to use the new, improved drag drop logic including the TreeViewDragVisual.
