HI,

I just installed JustCode Beta 2010.1.223.0. If I try to open documentation a message appears saying "You don't have Dexplore installed". I tried it with VS2005 and VS2008 (german editions). Dexplore is in fact installed with german language pack.

Are there any solutions?

Greetings from germany,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Can you open any other product's documentation? Can you open VS documentation itself? What is the exact text of the error message?

All the best,

Hi Tsviatko,

yes, I can open any other documentation and the VS documentation. Attached an image of the message.

Thanks,
Daniel

Hey Daniel ,

Thanks for the quick reply. Could you do me another favor? Could you check out where dexplore.exe is located on your hard drive? It should be somewhere in your Program Files folder so a search there should normally do.

Sincerely yours,

Hi Tsviatko,

there are several versions installed on my computer:
7.01.3077.0: C:\Programme\Gemeinsame Dateien\Microsoft Shared\Help
8.0.50727.1826: C:\Programme\Gemeinsame Dateien\Microsoft Shared\Help 8
9.0.21022.8: C:\Programme\Gemeinsame Dateien\Microsoft Shared\Help 9

Thanks,
Daniel

Alright it is a problem on our side caused by your Windows localization.  Thanks a bunch for assisting us on pinpointing it.

This command should open the documentation fr you:

C:\Programme\"Gemeinsame Dateien"\"Microsoft Shared"\"Help 9"\dexplore.exe /helpcol ms-help://justcode

I am also attaching an internal build with that issue fixed. It should be fairly stable overall although it's not production quality. Most probably it'll work just fine for you, though. Try it out and see whether it does the job for you. We are gonna release a stable build with that issue fixed the next week.

Once again thanks for the help. Please, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further issues.

Sorry, can't put the internal build here. I started a ticket and attached it there. You should be able to access it.
