App tested with both IE & Firefox on local development PC.

Problem isn't deployment after all. Tracked down to IE 7 or IE 8 in compatibility mode.
So... why aren't the grid paging controls showing up in IE 7? How to fix?

Unfortunately this is not a known issue. For example our online demos work ok in IE7. You can check them out.
I suspect this is some CSS compatibility issue but I cannot tell what it is until we somehow reproduce the problem. Is there any live url which we can browse?
