Hi,

I did a quick check and found that we cannot execute tests from already opened browser instance. Is there any feature went in latest version (2015) to enable the execution from a particular browser state.

I am finding it difficult to debug tests. Upon reaching some page, test fails. I have to debug the failure form that page. But currently i am executing from beginning. It consumes lot of time.

Is there any way?

Hello Vishnu,

In order to be able to execute the a test or test steps in already opened browser you should have the recorder attached. You can use load page and Run Selected steps afterwards.

Here is a short video demonstration (no audio).

Hi,

I have upgraded to 2015 version and there is no "Load Page" option in that.

I tried "Run to Here" option. But what i thought will be helpful is while debugging, we will navigate the webpage to a specific state and we should be able to execute scripts from there. It will save time.

Hello Vishnu,

The video provided is with the latest version of Test Studio, so you should also have the option Load Page.

Look a bit more closely to what I have provided as demonstration.
