Hi,

I have upgraded my Silverlight 3 project to .net 4 using VS 2010. But When I tried to edit the rad controls I'm getting a pop up saying that "
HTMLPage_ not enabled"

Arguments

Debugging resource strings are unavailable.

Can you please help me on this problem?

Hi Priya,

There are some incompatibilities between our Silverlight 3 assemblies and the Silverlight 4 runtime, hence we released a separate Silverlight 4 build of RadControls for Silverlight. Do you use our Silverlight 4 assemblies in the upgraded application? The version number should end with 1040 for Silverlight 4 and 1030 for Silverlight 3. It would be of great help if you open a new support ticket and send us the upgraded application.

Sincerely yours,

Valeri!

Thank you so much for the immediate response. I upgraded to .Net platform 4, with assemblies 1030 for Silverlight 3. I didn't go for 1040 because I want to work with Platform4 and Silverlight 3.

Can I do that or should I go with 1040?

Thank you!

Priya

Hi Priya Iyer,

If you are using Visual Studio 2010 then you could develop applications for both Silverlight version 3 and 4. Just make sure that you are using the corresponding RadControls for Silverlight (xx.xx.xx.1030 for SL3 and xx.xx.xx.1040 for Silverlight 4).
