Hey,

Kindly i need help for how to make the tool see the control correctly as it is for the user/custom controls that is not recognized by the tool.

For Example:

i have a combobox filled with Items when i record my web test the tool didn't see it as Combobox type but an Edit text and button/image so i can't perform specific function on it like if i need to get all values inside the combobox to check that values are loaded successfully...etc also at Grids the tool see the rows as Links so how to select specific row ....etc

so how to make Wrapper classes for these controls to be seen correctly???

Can you help me plz?

Thanks

Hi Hend,

Making wrapper classes is a major undertaking. Even if you do, the our recorder will not recognize your custom wrapper classes. It can only use those created by Telerik and added to Test Studio by our developers.

Usually you'll be better off using our DOM Explorer finding container elements and then working with the properties of those container elements. If you have a specific example of a specific control you want to share with me that you need assistance automating I'll be glad to take a look at it and see what we can do. I would need to be able to view the entire HTML, as shown in our DOM Explorer, to see what we have to work with to accomplish your automation needs.
