Hello,

I am working with a developer on a project where we use several of the Telerik controls.  When development first started we were using the controls that were most current at the beggining of January 2010.  Later we migrated the project to SilverLight 4.0 and changed to the Telerik 2010 Q1 controls.  Now I have asked the developer to change to the most current Q2 Telerik contorls.  As the developer looked into this he found that would be a very diffacult process because many of the methods or properties used have been removed in the Q2 release and there are now alternate methods to do the same or similar functionality.

I am trying to find out, the methods or properties that were removed for the GridControl in the Q2 release; when were they first deemed as obsolete and when did Telerik suggest that developers stop using them?

Thanks,

Chris

Hello,

Can you post more info about these removed methods? Usually before we remove something this was marked with Obsolete attribute and stays at least a Q before we can removed it. In many cases this period was even a year. Have you used obsolete members in your project?

Kind regards,
Vlad

Hi Vlad,

You asked the right question. "Have you used obsolete members in your project?"
I don't know and that is what I am trying to figure out. Where can I get a listing of when an item went on the obsolete list for the past year?

Hi Chris Ward,

Open this RSS feed and simply search its contents for the word 'obsolete'.
