The date is serialized in an ASP.NET-specific format that needs to be de-serialized. Possible approaches are discusses on SO, for example.
You then need to set a template for the category axis labels to use the de-serialized date:
.CategoryAxis(axis => axis
.Categories(s => s.DateString)
.Labels(labels => labels.Template("${ formatDate(value) }"))
)
