DataForm placeholder animation

I could not find anything about the placeholder animation. I would expect it to be animated in the Material style, however while using Angular DataForm the placeholders are not animated. Am I missing something or this functionality is not supported?

Thank you for your interest in UI for NativeScript.
At this point, there is no functionality, which allows setting placeholder animations. Regarding that, it would help if you could provide some more info about the way you are expecting a similar feature for a placeholder animations to work.

Also, I would suggest logging this feature in the --feedback repository, where you could also describe the way you are expecting this functionality to work.

thank you for a quick reply.

I thought of something like this. The placeholder will fill the editors input field, when the field is empty, and then, after typing anything the placeholder will take its place over the input field, like it takes right now.
