    Is data annotation supported in Telerik SL3 components ( [Requided] [StringLenghth ...] and so on) if class definition is decorated with specific attributes?

    Hi Janne,

    This is still not supported, but we are working on that and with our next release this will be enabled for most of the controls. We are aiming to have this functionality available for download till the end of the month.

    Which controls you expect to support the data validation?

    Valio, the July version of RIA should give a clean base for validation and so forth.

    BTW, what's the general plan and direction from Telerik in regards to the New DataForm (The RTW version) and Telerik's Masked TexBox, ComboBox and other editors. I really would like to use Telerik Editors in a DataForm and still have the validation and other features that DataForm offers with MS editors. Any comments on that?

    All editors, but GridView would be one of the first in my list.

    Hi all,

    Yes - we are aiming for FULL support of the DataForm integration and features. This will not be done with the first release - that is almost here - (yet some 2-3 weeks left), but definitely working on a full support.

    Valio, thanks for the informative answer. Having support for DataForm is excellent. One other question. As of the release time you mentioned above, will your GridView support the validation for RIA similar to MS DataGrid?

    In the official SL3 build (after SL3 official release) the grid will support validation for sure!
