I am currently setting the DataContext of a SplitContainer manually via code-behind - which works well until the pane is floated - at which point the data context is reset to the data context of the parent (i.e. my UserControl).
Is there any work around or way to stop this ? Or if you want to use data binding in your RadPane(s) they cannot be floated or hidden ?

Could you please let me know what version of RadControls do you use? We were aware of such issue with RadDocking, but it is fixed in our Q2 Service Pack 2 release. Could you please try it and let me know if you still have any problem with RadDocking control. I will be glad to assist you further.
