As I've posted elsewhere the Feedback Portal does not yet meet my needs. However, I'm impressed with the user experience for developers and non-developers in the way the implementation is partitioned. (User posts in portal, dev creates user stories and tasks from that post. Captures the link between the two but respects that dev and user interests are different, and hides unnecessary detail from user.)

So, would it be possible to create a custom TeamPulse extension that followed the same design and function? Does the TeamPulse OData service expose the necessary functionality? Frankly I'd be happy if only external data was copied to TeamPulse (and thus TFS) and not the other way around, though of course both would be best.

Or as an alternative option, what about adding extensibility to the Feedback Portal so that I can make it do what I want?

Thanks.

Hi Drew,

For now there isn't a way the create custom extension that we be part of TeamPulse or Feedback Portal. In general this is something that we want to do in the feature.
The only way to integrate with TeamPulse for now is to read and write date through the oData service.

Can you share what you want to add to the Feedback Portal? We can consider to implement it.
