[Solved] Custom row style + row details

I've tried to use a custom row style + row details at the same time, but GridView doesn't display row details if the row style is defined. (even if RowDetailsVisibilityMode="Visible")  
So both these properties, for example, RowStyle="{StaticResource AddressCard}" RowDetailsTemplate="{StaticResource AddressTemplate}" don't work at the same time for me.

How to fix it?

We were able to reproduce the issue only when setting RowHeight property of RadGridView. If you do not set this property to an appropriate value RowStyle and RowDetailsTemplate would be synchronized.

If this is not the issue it could be great if you can send us a small application with your custom scenario.

Hello Elena,


Thank you for submitting your project. The problem is in the fact that you are creating your own custom Style, where the DetailsPresenter represents the GridViewRow's details, it should be custom too. If you want to keep synchronized custom GridViewRow style and custom RowDetails just create a style that follows the logic in the DataTemplate from your example and is targeted at DetailsPresenter and your custom row layout will be aware of it.
