Custom matrix gridview failing with latest release

We have extended a radgridview control such that users can dynamically enter new columns and create a databound matrix.

We just upgraded to the latest version of the Telerik controls and now are getting and an "Element is already child of another element' if the CreateCellEditElement override.

Edit. It looks like setting a GridViewCell content to a TextBox control was the offending action, once I removed that, the error went away.
