First of all, thank you telrik for supporting the Ann Arbor Give Camp over the weekend. I was lucky enough to win a premium subscription.

I am evaluating OpenAccess to see if we can use it to migrate from Visual Foxpro to .Net. We already have an ADO.Net provider for Foxpro. Is there a way to write a custom provider?

Hi Paul,

Glad, that you could enjoy the event..

There is no custom database support, we need to support it explicitly.

The current supported database can be found here. On our Roadmap you can also see what's next in terms of new databases to be supported in the near future.

So one way might be to migrate from Foxpro to any of the supported ones, if there is any tooling/help available for such a migration.

All the best,
Peter Brunner
