[Solved] Custom AggregateFunctions accessing a WebService?

is is possible to build a custom AggregateFunction, which accesses a WebService asynchronously to retrieve the aggregated data?

Hi Jens,

This can be implemented. You can use our custom aggregate sample as baseline. You can look how the Statistics.cs class is implemented and do your web services call in a similar fashion.

Hi Jens,

You should make the web services call synchronous and just return the result. You can also play with lazy evaluation of LINQ expressions and override CreateAggregateExpression method of AggregateFunction.
